Assessment and Therapy

We believe that children respond far better to physiotherapy when it is provided in an environment that is familiar and non threatening to them.  Your child will therefore be assessed and treated either at home or at their school/nursery.  This also allows the therapy to be tailored as much as possible to fit individual family dynamics.  It is important that children are seen by a specialist children's physiotherapist.

Children who are struggling physically may also be at risk of confidence and self esteem problems, particularly amongst their peers and therefore the physiotherapy sessions will aim to be positive, motivational and fun.

We offer flexibility with our appointment times including after school, evening and Saturday sessions.  We will travel to all areas of Staffordshire and the West Midlands to provide physiotherapy, please call to discuss specific costs for this.

Sometimes blocks of weekly treatment are required, other children may need monitoring only or the provision of a home programme.  We will discuss fully with you the therapy recommendations to ensure we have mutual aims and expectations.
